Are you a fashion design student in Chicago and antsy because you are not sewing over break? Well, Supreme Fabrics has the perfect solution for your winter break down time: our Spring Design Competition!
Here are the Details:
Supreme Novelty Fabrics began in 1931 with Sam Schechter selling bridal illusion out of the trunk of is car in Midwestern Cities like Cleveland, Detroit, and Chicago. Since our inception, we have been tied to the world of custom bridal. Because of this, we have acquired a large selection of both vintage and contemporary laces. Supreme Fabrics serves local brides, and also ships products across the globe. It is from this, that we have found inspiration for our Spring Competition theme.
Brides dream about their wedding dress for years leading up to the big day. It is a designer’s job to create the perfect gown to fulfill these dreams. For this competition, your challenge is to design a wedding gown. Your design can be traditional or modern. It does not have to include lace. Traditionally fashion shows end with a wedding dress, well, we are going to have a full show of amazing bridal gowns!
